Edward Pittari, President and Owner, retired as a Sergeant from the New York City Police Department in July, 2003. During his twenty-year tenure with New York’s Finest, Mr. Pittari gained a wealth of knowledge in security detection, investigations and supervisory management. It was during this same period that, Mr. Pittari expanded the realm of his experience in security and investigations by working part-time as an event security specialist at many high-end affairs.
Upon his retirement, and in response to the increased demand for security professionals in the post 911era, Mr. Pittari decided to make the security business his full time profession and formed BTSI in the spring of 2003.
Mr. Pittari and BTSI now have a track record that spans the last fifteen years for providing event and private party security, investigations, armed and unarmed security services.

Warren Aberbach retired as an officer from the New York City Department of Corrections in the summer of 2005 after twenty years of dedicated service. During his twenty year tenure with the Department of Corrections, Mr. Aberbach gained valuable experience in many different facets of security, including: supervision, surveillance, investigations, management of large crowds and self defense.
In 2001 Mr. Pittari, recruited Mr. Aberbach into BTSI. Soon thereafter, they formed an alliance in an effort to broaden BTSI's reach into the event security marketplace. In the six plus years since this alliance, Mr. Aberbach has directed security operations for hundreds of events, both large and small. With a professional demeanor, Mr. Aberbach has contributed significantly in the effort to advance BTSI's stellar reputation in the security marketplace.
